The PRO - Expedition Tent is attached to compatable 2.5 x 2.0m Roll Out Awning Systems (not included but available from us).

Tent is easy and quick to attach to the awning.

Fitting:

Our Expedition tents use 'Snap-Lock' connectors to attach to both upper horizontal & vertical awning poles.

Also attaches via 2 x Kadar Rail channel on awning cassette.

Features:

* 2 x Windows with insect mesh and canvas zipped windows.

  Windows can be opened whilst leaving insect mesh down.

* 2 x Door openings (zipped), also with independent mosquito net mesh (zipped).

  Door facing into vehicle / door facing away from vehicle.

* Overall usable height of over 190cm / 6ft 4", ideal for the tallest users.

If you intend to use on a relatively low camper van or vehicle, if the awning & tent height is less than 170cm the floor will sag. Likewise if the tent is raised too high, beyond 210cm, the floor will raise up on the outer edges

* UV stabilized Mosquito net gauze

* PU 2000mm Waterproof - suitable for moderate rain. 

* If you are using in heavy persistent driving rain, we recommend using a good quality Waterproofing spray and Seam sealer. We sell the Fabsil range which you can see in our shop, they work well and are relatively inexpensive.

Important:

Using an awning / awning tent in high winds can be hazardous, and may effect any warranty for either product.

We recommend that you don't!

Awning needs to be set up with canvas roof on a taper, which will allow rain to run off.

Do not allow rain to pool on top of the awning, or it will damage the product.

If stowed away wet, do open and allow to dry out at your earliest convenience.

Our 2.5m wide WIND BREAK (fits on the Front section of the Roll Out Awning)

*May fit other makes of 2.5m wide awnings if keder rail (C channel) is in place on the leg cassette body.

Positioning:

a) Can be used at 90deg against canopy fastened onto the leg poles (fastened via velcro / 3 straps on either side)

b) Or can be angled at 45 deg shown in the images. 2 x eyelets at the bottom.

Comes with Guy ropes, short elastic toggle & pegs for anchoring.

Front Windbreak size 2.5m wide / 2.4m drop

Side WIND BREAK

fits on the awning side (velcro onto horizontal support pole) but should fit most vehicle awning brands, check with us if you are unsure.

a) Can be used at 90 deg. 

- fastened onto the leg poles (fastened via velcro / 3 straps on either side) approx.

b) Or can be angled at 45 deg., 3 x eyelets at the bottom.

Comes with Guy ropes & pegs for anchoring.

*Important - You are buying the side section windbreak only. You are not buying the awning that is attached to the vehicle! It is assumed you already have this item.

*Also note the WINDBREAK only fits on the side of your awning.

Front windbreaks are available too (slides into the aluminium body C Channel / keder) of the awning cassette.

2m Wide WIND BREAK / PRIVACY MESH SCREEN - COLOUR - GREEN

Positioning:

a) Can be used at 90 deg. against canopy fastened onto a single leg pole (fastened via velcro / 3 straps on either side)

b) Or can easily be angled as shown in the images. 3 x heavy duty PVC eyelets at the bottom.

Comes with Guy ropes, pegs for anchoring.

SIDE windbreak size 2.0m wide / 1.9m drop (will 'usually' reach the floor if mounted at 90 deg) Can be pegged.

*Important - You are buying the side section 'Mesh' windbreak only. Note you are not buying the awning attached to the vehicle! It is assumed you already have this item.

*Also note the WINDBREAK only fits on the sides. (Not the front)
